Kelly Piquet Master Timeline
By: Flowergothic
To ensure a clearer viewing experience, go to the "View" tab and uncheck the "Print Layout" option. To easily navigate between years, you can also enable the "Show document outline" option in the same menu.
To maintain consistency and to be transparent about the sources I have, I have designed this timeline as an editable tool. People are welcome to contribute to this timeline, but please provide links to verifiable sources to back up your additions. Send an email to iamflowergothic@gmail.com, and I’ll put the additions in if I deem them verifiable.
I also have one other request for those who add things. Please keep references and images of Kelly’s daughter to a minimum. Her name and face are an open secret, I know. But I want to minimize any potential damage that could come the child’s way. She’s a minor and doesn’t deserve to be in the crossfire. Please only refer to her as “Kelly’s daughter”, and only bring her up in events that directly relate to Kelly and/or Max.
The template for this timeline is based heavily off the Onision/Kai master timeline from OnionCritic. It is one of the most detailed and verifiable timelines I’ve ever come across, and I highly recommend it if you want to learn about another problematic content creator.

- On the same day, Kelly posts an Instagram story captioned “early mornings” This photo was not only posted at around 9:30 AM local time, but was also discovered to be a repost of a 2021 photo she took. Accounts that bring this up get mass-reported. She would later delete the story.

- Kelly tries to paint herself as an “independent woman”, which contrasts with her privileged upbringing, including living in Monaco as a child and going to a boarding school in England.
- The article itself focuses more on Kelly’s glamorous lifestyle than her own professional accomplishments. It also gets those accomplishments incorrect, claiming she worked with Formule E for three years when she only worked with them for just over a year and a half.
- The article touches on Kelly’s upbringing in the male-dominated world of motorsports, and asks how she handles it. This is despite her being the daughter of one driver and the girlfriend of another. She is not a driver herself.
- Kelly also claims to be “environmentally conscious”. This is immediately undercut by her association with F1, which is one of the most environmentally damaging sports. But, that is done in a manner that doesn’t take her supposed environmental concerns seriously and makes them seem more “trendy”. (Archive)
- This article marks the first reference of the “magical night” where Kelly and Max met. When pressed, Kelly brushes the story aside. This suggests the true circumstances of their meeting might be more complicated or controversial than she’s willing to disclose. This is especially concerning because of the age difference (9 years) and Max’s age at the time (18).
- Kelly also calls her parents her heroes. This is despite the interview taking place the same year Nelson Sr faced a series of controversies surrounding racism, homophobia, and the 2022 Brazilian election.
- The article would be criticized for a variety of reasons, including focusing on the partner of a driver instead of an actual female driver. (Archive)
- You can read the article here in its original Dutch. An English translation (albeit imperfect) is also available here.

- Max’s Instagram account comments on the post, defending her and saying the “rumors” have to stop. Skeptics and bystanders would be quick to figure out that Max most likely did not write the comment for a variety of reasons, including;
- During the second half of the main race, Lando makes multiple attempts to overtake Max. This culminates in a collision when the latter tries to block him. Lando would retire from the damage, and Max would place fifth. (Archive 1, 2)
- Of note is that while Kelly posted about Max’s pole positions and sprint win, she would not say anything about the results of the main race.

People who question why in the comments, even jokingly, are met with hostility by Kelly fans. (Archive)
- October 25, 2024: Kelly is revealed to be in Miami with multiple people, including her daughter. Her daughter’s school would have started fall break on or around October 23rd, just two days before. This leads to speculation that Kelly secretly brought her child to the states with her. (Archive)
- October 28, 2024: Max releases exclusive merch ahead of the 2024 Brazilian Grand Prix. This is not without controversy, as some claim the colors used are the same colors associated with Bolsonaro (the justifiably controversial former president of Brazil several Piquet family members support, including Kelly). Others come to his defense, noting the colors are also on the Brazilian flag. (Archive 1, 2, 3)
- The merchandise seems to be based off the iconic Brazilian football jersey, which has been tied (at least to an extent) to Bolsonaro and his campaign since he got elected in 2018. More information on the controversies surrounding it can be found here and here. (Archive 1, 2)
- November 1-3, 2024: The 2024 Brazilian Grand Prix. Lando wins the Saturday sprint race, and Max finishes fourth after five seconds’ worth of penalties. Despite being at the paddock with family members (see below), Kelly makes no post about Max’s results. (Archive)

- During the Sunday race, Max starts at P17 after not having a fast enough time to make it to the third round of qualifying before another driver crashes, forcing the session to end. Kelly criticizes the FIA for waiting 40 seconds before suspending the session, with the implication being he would have made it to the third round if it was called immediately. While some fans shared the sentiment, commentators point out Max wouldn’t have made it to the third round regardless of when the suspension was called. (Archive 1, 2)
- The stories were later found to be taken on November 27, despite being presented as if it was happening on that day.
